As Part of International Whores Day SIN is proud to support a red umbrella event
Link to more information off site.International Whores Day celebrates the birth of the sex worker rights movement. This year join with sex workers, health workers, sex industry supporters, friends and family to celebrate the success of Australian sex workers in maintaining high standards of sexual health and HIV prevention as part of the struggle for overall health, rights and wellbeing!
PUBLIC EVENT
Friday June 6th
Meet at SIN lounge 64 Fullarton rd Norwood (enter off gray st) 3:30 till 5pm
Join us for drinks, nibbles, wigs and giggles as we prepare ourselves to dress to impress (and disguise) and parade the 1 km down Fullarton rd to the “maid and Magpie’ intersection.
Red umbrellas, wigs, masks, costumes and even paper bags are used to hide our identity and shield us from stigma and discrimination. There will be a diverse mix of people to ensure that no one will know who is a sex worker, who is a health worker and who is simply helping us celebrate.
PRIVATE EVENT
"Maid and Magpie" Private Function room
Payneham rd and Magill rd intersection
5:30 till 8:30 pm
For those to shy to parade with us, join us at the after party!
