The NT Prostitution Regulation Act was designed for purposes other than increasing OH+S standards for sex workers. Sex Workers were not involved in its creation. The legislation that exists is unworkable and impractical and operates to the detriment of the health and safety of those working in the sex industry. This submission outlines the specific problems with NT Licensing and points towards sex worker involvement to improve the situation.
